JoAnn DuncanErica Hochman received her Undergraduate Degrees in Political Science and Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University - Bloomington, she received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law - Camden in 2000. Erica is licensed in Connecticut and New Jersey and practices exclusively non-litigative family law, which includes Mediation and Collaborative Divorce. Nancy BerkowitzNancy Berkowitz, M.S.,
is a Counseling Advocate for adults at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) in Norwalk, CT. She obtained her Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling at the University of Bridgeport in 2009. Ms. Berkowitz entered the non-profit world seven years ago following a 30 year span in the marketing profession. She brings to the non-profit field extensive knowledge of conducting business nationally and internationally for a multi-million dollar horticultural company, and has pioneered joint ventures in foreign lands, as vice president of an import company in the Midwest. During her five years at DVCC, she held the position of Director of Counseling for three years. Kieran J. Costello, Esq. is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers of America, the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. In addition, Mr. Costello is the Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Greater Bar Association, a Member of the Elder Law Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association and a Member of the Trust and Estates Committee of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association. JoAnn DuncanClaire DeVidas practices primarily in the area of family law, including, divorce, custody, visitation, alimony, child support, restraining orders and post-judgment modification and enforcement actions. She is experienced representing high net worth individuals and those with complex compensation packages. Ms. DeVidas began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her experience prosecuting violent crimes, including domestic violence, provides her with unique insight into the dynamics of abusive relationships and provides her clients with an edge in court proceedings.

Nancy Berkowitz

Stacy Raymond, Psy.D., has been practicing as a licensed Clinical Psychologist in CT for over 15 years. Carina Roestorf is a photographer and poet who also works during the warm months in the field of landscape design. Always about creative self-expression, in her photography she believes that we all can most fully embrace who we truly are by taking the time to become art, reflecting our sensual, elegant self. Born and raised in South Africa, Carina is graduate of North-West University in that country, majoring in sociology and Sesotho, one of the native languages. Ethel-Anne Roome, Since 2001, has been helping people walk through the pain of loss and grief into a place of recovery and relief. Loss surrounds us and it is not just as a result of death and divorce. It can be loss of a career, loss due to illness or injury, loss of custody, or loss of any kind. Berta RussellNancy Scherlong is a licensed clinical social worker and poetry and journal therapist. She is the founder and director of Wellness Metaphors where she works as a therapist, stress management coach and workshop facilitator. Nancy BerkowitzMartha Talburt, is a poet, artist and a teacher. Trained at the Art Students League in New York, Martha specializes in portrait art. Ms. Talburt served in the Peace Corps in Macedonia in 1988 and 1999, where she taught high school. Mother, grandmother, sage, and lover of language and light, Martha will share her insights and stories of how she has survived and thrived as a creative inspiration and mentor to many.

 

 

 

Lisa Tancredi has worked as a financial advisor, personal and executive coach, yoga teacher and workshop leader. Two years ago, she returned to the US from living in Germany where she led experiential workshops for the American International Women’s Club of Cologne dealing with life strategy and purpose. She enjoys exploring hidden and underlying dynamics that shape what we believe is our conscious, rational decision-making.

 

 

 

 

Mitchell Teta attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Teta graduated magna cum laude from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2012. While in law school, he received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award, and served as an Associate Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review. Mr. Teta practices primarily in the areas of family law and criminal law making appearances on behalf of clients throughout the state. Mr. Teta is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.

 

Nancy Berkowitz

Attorney Vicki Volper has devoted her career to helping couples divorce in a manner that maintains their dignity, preserves their assets and protects their children. Urgyan ZangpoNancy Berkowitz
Urgyan brings 40 years of study, practice, and teaching to sharing the yogic path of well-being and spiritual development, especially through meditation, yoga, and breath training. He studied for over 20 years with Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, who ordained him Lama Zangpo. Chagdud Rinpoche was one of Tibet’s great Nyingma masters who brought Buddhism to the West. Urgyan uses discernment and insight in his instruction, especially when it comes to clearly presenting the yogic worldview and wealth of guiding principles to relieve the human dilemma. Foremost among them is the role of integration in cultivating holistic well-being. No less important is Urgyan’s encouragement of spiritual community through mutual respect, love, receptivity, and responsiveness. He leads private and group prana-based meditations in a number of settings, including in Ridgefield at MindBodySpirit: Psychotherapy and Healing Arts, where he is a founding partner. Urgyan grew up in New England and currently lives in New Preston CT.
